Review for K9's For Freedom & Independence, Collinsville, TX, USA

Rating: 1 stars

Very bad at resolving issues with clients. My daughter-in-law was a former client and Janeen removed the dog after almost a year of being paired for PTSD. Uses threatening, belittling, and threats of filing charges to harass her. PTSD takes 22 vet’s lives a day and Janeen wants to roll the dice with taking a service dog from a vet with PTSD. #GiveSwiftBackToChrista

Swift is not a Service Dog. Only after training with us for at least a year and going through our rigid certification process and passing, would any of our dogs be considered a Service Dog. Christa was supposed to go through a training and rehabilitation program with us and our dog. She disappeared with our dog for over 2.5 months and moved from Texas to Utah during that time. She only made maybe 9 trainings appointments out of approximately 50 she was supposed to go to in the 9 months she had Swift. She did not follow the instructions and guidance of our trainers and constantly argued about our training process. The hard descision was made to reclaim our dog. The contract is clear and was signed by Christa and the Organization. Rules are for everyone and everyone else follows them, so should Christa.
