This was my second retreat at the Terrace House Inn and i couldnt wait to step across the threshold and close the door, to be enveloped in the utter peace and quiet that the inn exudes. I am a mother of three, two who have special needs. I also help caregive to my father in law, who is battling cancer. I am so grateful to Andrea and A Mothers Rest for providing a place where i can come to recharge and to sink into the wonderful atmosphere of respite. The last night i opted to stay alone while others went out. After a bath in that fabulous tub i just reveled in the silence and utter joy of only caregiving for myself. A thousand thank yous. I will definitely be back!!!!

AMR was an amazing much needed experience. A weekend spent with 5 other moms who understand what we have been through...conversations without having to define every other word LOL. and the free flow atmosphere where i could participate or not without judgement or comment. One night the chatter and cross conversations got too much and i just retreated to the papasan and read...and it was great! I loved all the moms I met and the house itself was tranquil and serene and filled with beauty all around. It was ALL just perfect! I hope I can come back again!
