This charity is one that is near and dear to my heart. We all stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. The Thanks Mom & Dad Fund honors them by giving to fellow Seniors and caregivers. That Mother or Father, Grandmother our Grandfather who was instrumental in making you the person you are today is honored and donations go to the growing populations of Seniors and caregivers in the Atlanta area.
Helping Seniors stay in their homes with programs to get them to a doctor’s visit or bring them meals.
Seniors are too often neglected and forgotten. The Thanks Mom & Dad Fund not only remembers but embraces, loves and nurtures.
I’ve been working with them since inception and gladly donate my time to emcee the event every year and have plans to take this charity National as the growing need for Senior care climbs every year. We are living longer and resources are running out from government. This charity helps bridge that gap and it’s my honor to nominate them.
