SiliconAndhra is a nonprofit organization that I am proud to be a part of. SiliconAndhra’s efforts in the past have helped hundreds of thousands of people in rural villages in South India and they are still going to continue helping these people in need. SiliconAndhra has built bus stations, public restrooms and toilets in households that didn’t have them, paved roads for better travel and transportation of goods, and their most recent project was building a $5 million multi-specialty hospital that would provide quality healthcare to 156 villages in India. I joined SiliconAndhra’s nationwide initiative, Future Young Leaders for Humanity, which was comprised of youth leaders across the U.S. that raised money in their states to donate for the creation of this hospital, and I successfully raised approx. $10,000 for he buildin of this hospital. The hospital just recently opened on Oct. 18th, and it is now helping thousands of poverty stricken villagers receive healthcare that wasn’t provided before. SiliconAndhra plans to continue providing the necessary amenities and institutions for better living in places that are in need and have skyrocketing poverty levels.
