Gardner's House is the nonprofit organization for whom this review is written. Gardner's House has proven itself as a valuable organization in the Hartford, Connecticut community. It's effort to assist families survive everyday life issues while in the battle of cancer sets it aside from other organizations. I personally witnessed two individuals apply for assistance to avoid eviction and termination of utilities. Her fight for funding to assist her clients spans to the state and federal levels, individuals and other organizations. They also raise funds at their annual Pretty In Pink Gala, which is their major annual project for fundraising. We, Woman of Hope was the recipient of their 2018 Community Service Award. We, Woman of Hope, have provided Gardner's House with Thanksgiving Baskets for the past seven years. Not only does Gardner's House receive from the community, but it gives back. Maggie Gardner continues as the phenomenal, enthusiastic, leader of Gardner's Howse.
