The Lifegroup LA has made my life so much more richer by their education, knowledge and caring ways through their programs and the entire Lifegroup family's tireless and giving nature.
I have become a more confident, informed and educated member of society because of their amazing seminars, workshops all at no cost. Both as an attendee and a volunteer for this wonderful group has made such an impact on my life and those around me.
I cannot think of anything more enriching in my life than when I come out of a workshop or an event of any kind with The LifeGroup LA. The energy and love of all these volunteers is so powerful and loving.

The Lifegroup was introduced to me by a post through friends 4 years ago for trying to help one of their volunteers who had his bike stolen, his only mode of transportation.
Rather than complain or be negative about the situation they told a story of how this person was as upset about his bike being stolen but how he stayed positive that it would show up, the person who took it was desperate or that something better would come in the days or weeks to come.
I then asked the director who made the post “how can I help, can I send a donation to help get a new or used bike to this person? The answer was yes and then I got curious through the Lifegroup LA website and went on to visit and read and watch the videos on it! About 4 months later I volunteered for one of their free Poz life weekends and my life was changed forever!
I was exposed to the caring, loving and supportive work that everyone in this organization does on their own free time for an entire weekend. Not only was I of service with others I saw how they changed and enriched the lives of so many others through education on all levels from helath care, nurtrtion, exercise and self care and not just for attendees infected with HIV but also people affected too; loved ones, spouses, children, caretakers. This is what made me fall in love and continue to be a part of this amazing group.
When I thought I was fully educated with hiv knowledge I’ve learned something new with each and every gathering.
The Lifegroup LA has given me more strength to help, educate and give back to a community that so many of my loved ones are included than I could of ever imagined and continues to do so!
The real amazing part of all their hard work is that it is done without a fee or cost to any persons attending and no paid employees!
All volunteers and free of charge to any and all people is almost unheard these days!

The Lifegroup LA does this and continues to do so with the generous donations from various fund raisers and donations.

I will be forever grateful not only for The LGLA but for their love and work and I will always be a part of them as they are a part of me!
