Review for Fieldhaven Feline Center, Lincoln, CA, USA
Fieldhaven has been like a second home for me ever since I became a volunteer in August of 2006. I have loved the friendships that I have been able to form with other volunteers and with the staff members as well. This is not to mention the many many cat friends that I have had at Fieldhaven that I have help find their forever home. It does not matter whatever other problems that I might be going through each week, because I know once I am on my way to Fieldhaven I can almost close the door to the rest of the world around me and it's problems. This allows me to just have tons of fun each Monday when I visit Fieldhaven and spend time with the staff members, volunteer friends, and of course all of my feline friends as well. This is exactly why Fieldhaven is a very special place for me and I am very proud to be one of thier volunteers
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Every adoption is celebrated as a victory for every cat that is adopted. I have seen as a volunteer how hard that Fieldhaven works to help as many cats and kittens that they possibly can. This is truly a no kill shelter.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The staff truly knows what they are doing and I completely6 trust the leadership. This organization is extremely well run
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
being able to be a part of a volunteer team that will do anything to help all cats get adopted
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The staff is extremely knowlegeable and friendly at the same time. They are easy to talk to no matter what. The volunteers truly believe in the old saying where there is a will there is a way and they prove this with each adoption.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
For One thing we would have a brand new state of the art shelter and we would never have to worry about turning a cat away, because of lack of space
Ways to make it better...
There is no way to make my volunteer experience any better. I love Fieldhaven and I always will.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Educating the people about spaying and neutering. We can talk about it untill we are blue the face, but the fact is that not everyone wants to listen.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Fieldhaven is by far the best Nonprofit that I have ever volunteered for.
