I started to volunteer for this amazing foundation in 2002, just shortly after I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer. Very quickly this organization represented family to me - a group that understood my pain and gave me a positive direction to move forward. It's important to stay involved with fundraising, educating and helping others affected by pancreatic cancer and the Hirshberg Foundation makes that possible. I'll be forever grateful for this connection.
