This is a remarkable organization - their events are inspiring, the staff is dedicated and their drive to fund research and provide patient and family programs is unwavering.
The Hirshberg Foundation team is amazing, I've attended several of their events and have really enjoyed volunteering with them. Their team is relentless and it makes me feel great knowing that I can be a part of the impact.
I started to volunteer for this amazing foundation in 2002, just shortly after I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer. Very quickly this organization represented family to me - a group that understood my pain and gave me a positive direction to move forward. It's important to stay involved with fundraising, educating and helping others affected by pancreatic cancer and the Hirshberg Foundation makes that possible. I'll be forever grateful for this connection.
6 years ago I had a successful Whipple Procedure at the UCLA Agi Hirshberg Center for Pancreatic Diseases. As a pancreatic cancer survivor, never would I have imagined what an extremely difficult journey lay ahead. Agi and her staff at the Hirshberg Foundation have been on this journey with me in my highs and my lows. They are an amazing group of people who have become my Purple family. I truly feel I could not have made it this far without their love and support.
The Hirshberg Foundation is an amazing organization working to change the face of pancreatic cancer. Someone is always there to answer the phone and answer your questions and the staff go above an beyond to be helpful, courteous and kind. The have amazing fundraising events too!
The Hirshberg Foundation is, quite simply, a great organization that funds pancreatic cancer research and provides outstanding support to those affected by the disease. I have seen first-hand the great work being done by the Hirshberg foundation as I am a six-survivor of the disease who has ongoing needs and I keenly follow developments that may lead to a cure of one of the most-dreaded cancers.
