Having retired from a life time of working with children and the agencies that serve them, when I became involved with the Reno Rodeo Foundation I was truly surprised by the depth and commitment of the foundations contribution to the children of northern Nevada. From scholarships for worthy students to toy and clothes distribution directed to foster children, the community has been well served by the foundation. The success of the foundation can be attributed to the number and caliber of volunteers and the leadership of the directer, Clara Andriola. The Reno Rodeo Foundation is an excellent model for other communities to follow.
