A few years ago I was looking how I could help in my community. Assistance League of the Eastside was the first to pop up on my screen. After reading what the non-profit does, I was sold and joined at the next informational coffee, which was also posted on their website. I love what ALE does for the community. We give around 3600 children from local school districts on free or reduced lunch clothing from Fred Meyer, we help woman who are experiencing homelessness or running from domestic violence and we help woman with children as well. We also have plenty of social activities for us volunteers to enjoy. I've been a member for 6 years now and plan on being a member for many years to come. ALE is 5 stars!!!
