In a year full of uncertainty and upsets, Associated Charities has managed to continue their excellent support for Lenawee County clients. The staff accepted the challenges of taking donations and making distributions while ensuring the health and safety of the community. This organization has served the area for over 100 years through consistent and dedicated effort.

When an organization serves a community for over one hundred years, a strong relationship is destined to develop. Associated Charities has supported the county through hard times as well as good ones. The executive directory and her staff run an effective operation. I've seen that firsthand as a volunteer in the store. They also perform efficiently and on budget, which I have observed as a executive board member.

The Charity operates with remarkable efficiency, while maintaining excellent service. I volunteer weekly in the store and observe courteous and helpful staff greeting customers by name, offering advice, and processing donations. The store is always clean and tidy.

As a board member, I know how tight funding gets at times. Yet the Charities rolls along without a hitch. That's largely due to the dedication and ingenuity of the executive director, Delight Creech.
