Thirty eight years ago my husband and I began to suppport Open Doors Ministry after learning how Christians in Communist China were being persecuted and not even allowed to have a bible. My heart went out to these people, and with my husband's support became involved with the ministry which included trips to deliver bibles to suffering Christians and to serve on the board of directors. To see tears of joy as these Christians held God's word, which had been denied to them, showed me the importance of getting God's word to those who so desperately wanted it. Now thirty eight years later, the need for God's word is still so great and we rejoice in helping Open Doors fill that need.
