Admittedly I was giving to another charity whose mission appeared to be the same that got caught up with a scandal. I asked a "dedicated" friend for another recommendation and thus Open Doors. I was looking for an organization that was financially responsible with money I make (after I do work hard for my money) but more importantly, it was the purpose of the money that pulls at my heart. God has blessed me in so many ways and I know there are many brothers and sisters of mine that are not able to do what I can because of the persecution. Bible states in Galatians 6:10 "Therefore, as we have opportunity let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith". What more precious way can we help than those who desperately need our help because of persecution because of their faith. God in this case blesses us both but ultimately the persecuted are more so as their final reward is on the other side of heaven but I want to help them whatever I can and pray God uses me and Open Doors to bless them now.
