Though I personally am not a burn survivor, the Burned Children Recovery Foundation has been an incredibly important part of who I am and part of my own personal journey. Each of us has scars we carry with us and to be surrounded by resilient, brave, strong, and thriving burn survivors has brought more to my life that I could have ever imagined. I have found a family of support that welcomes all. I love Camp Phoenix and the opportunity it gives to everyone to rise from the ashes and learn to love not only others, but ourselves as well. I highly recommend volunteering, supporting, and getting involved in some way!
