Review for Global Sanctuary For Elephants, Brentwood, TN, USA
I have supported Global Sanctuary for Elephants since I came across them unloading Guida and Maia the first elephants to come to Sanctuary on the night of their arrival at Sanctuary. I have watched them every day since then. Scott and Kat are the most wonderful kind, caring compassionate people. They are passionate about the work they do to give the girls the most wonderful life they could ever imagined would be possible for them. I have watched every rescue they have done since first coming across them. They care for each elephant they rescue. They have faced some very uneasy times but have never given up on them. Kat and Scott share news of the girls every day with all of their supporters worldwide, even times when bad news has to be told to us.
The rescues are exciting as they involve all of us worldwide with texts, live videos while on route to Sanctuary. They involve us in everything. We love and support them for their tireless work they do for our girls and many other animals. The Sanctuary is the most beautiful place. The beautiful elephants that are still waiting to come to them will be so lucky to embrace their new life of freedom at a GSE. They deserve recognition for their enthusiasm, love and kindness for our precious girls as they learn to be ‘just elephants’. Those still waiting to come home including the Male elephants who will have their own yards and not be with the females. We all love and care about Scott, Kat and all the team for their wonderful work.

I first became aware of Global Sanctuary for a Elephants the night I happened to come across the live feed of Maia and Guida’s arrival on the back of lorries. I sat transfixed until both beautiful girls were off loaded and in their holding pens. I’m in the UK so it was the early hours of the morning. The first thing I did when I woke up was to go back on to see how they were. It has been wonderful to watch these fabulous girls begin to relax and get to know each other properly and not be chained in the field they lived in for years. Maia could be demonstrative with Guida. Just look at them now, they love each other, are never far away from each other. Their characters have been emerging over the last 20 odd months. Maia’s a total goof ball, Guida is more laid back. I love them so much. I can’t wait till Ramba, Kenya and the other wonderful ele’s waiting for paperwork to go through to finally allow them to come to GSE, I long for their arrival.
Kat and Scott and all their team and Wal-ee are just wonderful kind hearted people. They take us through the ups and downs, the laughter and tears. I love the girls and I love these wonderful people too. Thank you all. ❤️
