Review for Assistance League of Sacramento, Sacramento, CA, USA
Becoming an active member of the Assistance League of Sacramento has been one of the best volunteer experiences that I have ever had -- and I've been a community volunteer in both Northern and Southern California for over 40 years. The mission, values and goals of the organization fit my philanthropic nature. It is an all volunteer community service organization spreading love and compassion throughout the greater Sacramento & Yolo County areas through its philanthropic programs.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Operation School Bell, Eyes Right, Kidz on the Block, Scholarship Program, Waste Not, History in a Trunk, Senior Friendship and Bears, and best of all working at the Thrift Shop.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
working with over 200 loving and compassionate people who give of themselves daily to the community.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Since the Assistance league has no paid staff, all volunteers are caring and helpful, and very professional
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Expand their philanthropic programs to help more people in need and purchase a new building to house the Thrift Shop
