It is such a pleasure to volunteer with In Jacob's Shoes (The Jacob S Zweig Foundation). This nonprofit organization serves children and families in need in Broward, Miami/Dade and Palm Beach County, Florida by providing shoes and school supplies. They work directly with school social workers ensuring that those in need receive their assistance. They also work with other local charities, police departments, and schools to coordinate getting proper shoes on children's feet. This is a much-needed service that gives recipients dignity and confidence. I am proud to be involved with this professional nonprofit organization!

One of my favorite days of the year is when I get to personally help disadvantaged children pick out brand new, top quality, well-fitted shoes for back to school with all the volunteers at In Jacob's Shoes. This organization works so hard, all year long, collecting gently used shoes and organizing volunteers to bring them back to life. They also do a great job seeking support from our community to be able to purchase new shoes. The children and families are incredibly appreciative and deserving.

I am overwhelmed with all the good this beautiful organization does for the children and families in South Florida. They help those in need with such compassion, professionalism and loving kindness. I am very proud to volunteer with them and to support their efforts in any way since I have seen first hand how they change people's lives. I also love how they work in conjunction with many other not for profit organizations to assist families.
