Fiver inspires my imagination of what is possible when innovation in youth empowerment is not defined by the latest technological app or tool but by a one-of-a-kind commitment to building real trusting and transformative relationships with youth that are empowering across their lives. The Fiver team has integrity to its mission with leaders who walk the talk and alumni joining the team inspired to give back. Fiver is humbly showing the transformative impact of its collaborative empowerment model equitably supporting underprivileged youth across NYC to create paths out of intergenerational poverty and connecting youth across differences in New York while also building local to global bridges with its new partnership with a Senegalese youth empowerment organization. Bringing together the magic of summer camp with year-round after-school support and a life-long community of belonging and fun reminds us all what is possible when adults are committed to youth thriving no matter what it takes and enjoy the journey together!
