Review for Leap Of Faith Equine Rescue And Sanctuary, Fleming, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My daughter and I wanted to adopt a horse from a credible rescue and upon searching came across Leap of Faith. I called Selene who oversees the facility and found that she had many horses to choose from, all from different backgrounds, sizes and temperaments. She suggested that I go onto her face book page so we could see which horses would be suitable and had the personality we liked. We found two we wanted to meet and let Selene know and to send over the adoption form along with a permission of background check, I was more than happy to oblige, peace of mind is priceless. Everything was a go and when we arrived, we saw how big and beautiful her facility was and saw how she cared for each and every animal there. She greeted us happily and took us through the entire site naming every horse and what their likes and dislikes were. She asked questions along the way to see where my knowledge stood in terms of horse care including grooming, nutrition, vet/farrier/dental visits and worming schedules. She made us feel so at ease and we knew right then she was person we would adopt from. We then made our way to the two we wanted to be considered for and fell in love instantly. We took our time to let them get acquainted with us, fed them a treat a two and waited for them to give us the ok to come closer. Selene let us know the two we wanted were inseparable and that each had their encounter of bad times. She was always honest and made sure she didn't leave any detail out and that's another reason we chose her rescue. I'm happy to say, we adopted Walter and Mason who are two peas in a pod and are thrilled to come home to them every day. Selene was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process and always kept in contact. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends and family and cannot thank her enough for everything she's done for us and them.
