Lily's passion for changing the lives of these girls -- and the family and community that surrounds them -- is absolutely contagious!! When I started funding Hopi, the young girl she paired me with, I had no idea how utterly moving it would be to hear of her progress later that year and know that I had made such a TANGIBLE difference. There is a thread that goes from my life all the way around the world to Hopi's. Knowing that the funds I have generated here in my very different culture are the reason she can go to school is a miracle in action.
