Review for Wounded Warriors Family Support, Omaha, NE, USA
I ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 2012 to raise funds for this organization and to raise awareness for what they do. There is no other organization out there quite like this one. They not only support the wounded vet but the family too. THE WHOLE FAMILY. The different ways and means they employ to do this are tailored to the needs of the veteran and their families, each in their own unique way. This just goes to show how they look at each and every family unit that comes to them on a case by case basis and not just in a cookie cutter process. Wounded vets and their families don't come with an SOP but WWFS has founded a way to meet their challenges by improvising, adapting and overcoming in the spirit of the warrior way. Thanks for being there!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Expand it into regions. Offices in 5 regions; West Coast, Upper Midwest, Lower Midwest, Texas and surrounding and East Coast. 5 regions, 5 offices. West Coast would also include Hawaii and Alaska. Just a thought to spread the work around.
