What an amazing organization! For many young people such as myself, health is unfortunately not a priority until we are impacted by illness directly. The message, mission, dedication and commitment that Self chec has towards fighting terrible diseases such as cancer and promoting overall well-being is truly invaluable. I’m incredibly grateful to be involved with such an important organization and the amazing and selfless people behind the scenes. We’re all touched by illness and disease in someway over the course of our lives, but because of organizations like Self chec and individuals like Joan, maybe one day that won’t be the case.
