I was born and raised in Valley City. I remember taking field trips to the museum when I was in grade school and even in high school. It was always one of the best days of the year for sure. Now that I'm older and ended up back in Valley City I still enjoy going to the museum. I recently brought my 5-year-old niece in to see the dinosaur while we were downtown during crazy day. She was pretty excited and tells everybody about the dinosaur at the museum. My boyfriend and I are always at a loss for what to do for dates in a town that doesn't offer much "date-worthy" places. So we usually decide on going to the museum. This is a great place in our community! A++++
