King Street Cats is Alexandria’s only no kill, free roaming, all volunteer run, cat exclusive shelter. I have been volunteering there for over 3 years and am amazed at the number of cats that have been saved by this small rescue. They take cats from other shelters who have medical issues or behavioral issues and do whatever is necessasry to get them ready to find them a forever home. King Street Cats relies solely on donations from the public to accomplish its mission. Every penny donated goes to the care of the cats.
