I know the founder of Speak Up from his work with a previous organization living among and serving the urban poor. It has been a joy to see Speak Up grow to serve more and more girls in poverty in such a direct and effective way, equipping them with the resources they need to continue their education and break cycles of poverty within their own families. I always know that when I donate to Speak Up, my contribution will be used to directly benefit girls in need, allowing them to get an education that would otherwise be economically and culturally inaccessible to them. That, in turn, will serve to benefit entire communities.
