I know the founder personally who started this organization and I think it is really cool what he is doing. Getting girls out of the bad circumstances they are in, is amazing!

I know the founder of Speak Up from his work with a previous organization living among and serving the urban poor. It has been a joy to see Speak Up grow to serve more and more girls in poverty in such a direct and effective way, equipping them with the resources they need to continue their education and break cycles of poverty within their own families. I always know that when I donate to Speak Up, my contribution will be used to directly benefit girls in need, allowing them to get an education that would otherwise be economically and culturally inaccessible to them. That, in turn, will serve to benefit entire communities.

I have been to Bangladesh and have seen the work first hand. This is a great non-profit. Speak up is making a significant impact in Khulna, Bangladesh and is starting to branch out into other parts of the world. Speak Up consistently functions with integrity and compassion. I learned of Speak Up & their mission after listening to an interview with its founder. I was so moved that we began sponsoring a girl immediately. I’ve since not only continued to support the organization remotely but have traveled with my daughter to Bangladesh to visit the program. I can vouch for the fact that they are everything they claim and more. The amount of care & effort into these programs is unending and completely legitimate. I have visited Bangladesh and I saw firsthand the work that Speak Up for the Poor is doing in Bangladesh. I am proud to support this nonprofit as a donor. I visited the villages and met many of the girls in the Speak Up program. The girls clearly were excited to be part of the program and were were able to dream about the future in large part because of the work that Speak Up is doing. The organization is zealous in helping and advocating for girls to achieve their dreams and have a brighter future.

Wonderful non-profit working to empower girls in rural Bangladesh by supporting their education. We had the privilege of traveling to Bangladesh and visiting the villages where some of the girls whose education we support live and go to school. This is a highly effective organization that produces a great deal with so little. They've found direct ways for marginalized girls to receive outside help so that they can be educated in safe and protected environments. They are doing valuable work to bring long-term positive changes at individual and corporate level in places that had been neglected by their own governments. It's worth every penny to donate to and a worthy cause to volunteer for if you have a strong sense of global justice.
