This is a wonderful organization that supports the efforts of Broward County Animal Care and helps the animals in their care get adopted. They also help any animals that need veterinary care, through donations. There is even a program to assist with vet care for families who may not be able to afford such care. This helps reduce the number of animals surrendered and keeps families together. They are all about supporting the no-kill initiative that our new, wonderful director of BCAC has started. They're doing an excellent job as the numbers will show. The lady who manages this web page works tirelessly to get these animals the exposure they need to find that forever home. She also works diligently with rescues and fosters, to assist in more complicated cases, like new moms and orphaned kittens. The Friends of Broward County Animal Care are working hard to make this a no kill county and because of these efforts, I believe we will get there... and sooner than we think!
