There are almost no words for the amount of good this organization does for animals in Broward County, FL. They are assisting in saving animals in all categories, including ground breaking initiatives in saving animals in categories that would previously be an automatic death sentence (ex. Feline Leukopenia). Proud to support an organization that does this much good. Thank you!

This organization works tirelessly to give shelter animals a chance to get out alive by shining a light on them to the public. Their efforts have gotten many animals the donated funds for medical attention needed. This group is truly extraordinary!

This amazing organization is devoted to helping pets survive and thrive outside of the shelter. They work all day into the night to network, connect and transport pets to safety.

This is a wonderful organization that supports the efforts of Broward County Animal Care and helps the animals in their care get adopted. They also help any animals that need veterinary care, through donations. There is even a program to assist with vet care for families who may not be able to afford such care. This helps reduce the number of animals surrendered and keeps families together. They are all about supporting the no-kill initiative that our new, wonderful director of BCAC has started. They're doing an excellent job as the numbers will show. The lady who manages this web page works tirelessly to get these animals the exposure they need to find that forever home. She also works diligently with rescues and fosters, to assist in more complicated cases, like new moms and orphaned kittens. The Friends of Broward County Animal Care are working hard to make this a no kill county and because of these efforts, I believe we will get there... and sooner than we think! This organization is extremely pro-active and has saved hundreds of animal lives. They have provided thousands of dollars to rescues for animals that otherwise would have been euthanized as well as providing funds to Broward Animal Care for the benefit of the animals. It's very impressive that one organization can accomplish so much.

Their name says it’s all; they truly are friends to the animals at the Broward County shelter. Their work to help animals get out alive by sponsoring heart worm treatment, supporting kitten season with fosters and donations and donating preventive medications to help generate more adoptions makes them a true friend of Broward County homeless animals. This group helps save many animals. Broward County Animal Care kills every animal possible but this group works tirelessly with rescues and the public to find homes and get the animals rescued. They're helping this to become a no kill community and we love them for that!

Friends of Broward County Animal Care is full of true animal lovers! They have helped guide myself (and many others) in making great decisions with only the well being of the animals in mind.

This organization has created miracles for the animals at the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption facility. Every day is a new fundraiser for an Amina's in need or one with less chance of making it out alive unless a rescue steps up for it.
Everyday they are photographing the animals to get them on facebook or in the public's eye. They work together as a team with only one purpose - to find good homes for all the shelter animals.

The organization is fantastic! I became Facebook friends with them only a few months ago - I am so impressed with how quickly they can help get animals in critical situations out of the shelter and either adopted or into a rescue. They have been such an inspiration to me - so much so that I have been getting more involved with the rescue efforts of these wonderful dogs and cats!

Friends of Broward is a great organization. They are so caring and do exceptional work to protect these helpless animals.

This is the only non profit dedicated to help and support Broward County Animal Care in Fort Lauderdale Fl.
Friends of Broward Animal Care goes above and beyond- they provide much needed funds to the shelter, and also assist animal foster parents with a 20 dollar gift card to help defray costs of fostering. They have a very active Facebook page, that alerts the public about which animals are last call (for euthanasia ), fostering, and rescue. They do more than just give money to the shelter, they are very hands on with what they do, and have saved hundreds of animals from death. They care. They promote shelter events, adoptions, classes, rabies clinics- a valuable public service. This nonprofit does so much, without fanfare. BCAC and the animals are lucky to have them!

This organization is such a blessing to the animals of Broward County. Roz does an amazing job of raising funds to pull urgent and injured animals from high risk shelters. I have personally seen her assist dozens and dozens of animals but I'm sure the real number is many times that. Friends of Broward Animal Care is an organization you'll feel great supporting. Roz does such an outstanding job of telling the stories of so many abandoned and abused animals and raising needed funds for each one. And if one of these little guys has excess funds raised, or if the very worst happens and they don't make it, the funds are allocated to a different animal in need. I also appreciate the updates on these animals, it is so gratifying to see freedom pictures & hearing that they have found their furever home. I am very impressed with both Roz & the FRIENDS OF Broward County Animal Care.

One of the best organizations to ensure the homeless animals get the help needed. They have become a big influence on getting the Urgents out of the shelter and without their help, the animals would have no home. Thanks to Roz, hundreds of Broward County cats and dogs have been saved from euthanasia at the shelter. This is one of the few charities where I am confident that 98% of my donations go directly to help these animals, either for medical care or for supporting the organization that rescues the animal. This organization is truly amazing, and Roz is the most dedicated person I know. Thanks to her efforts, innumerable animals have been saved. She's raised thousands of dollars to assist Animal Care and constantly features animals whose lives are in jeopardy. She is tireless in her efforts.

Thanks to this group many lives have been saved including my dog's, Katie Sue. She had a horrible case of mange and knowing her chances at the shelter she was fostered by one of the volunteers and brought back to health before she came to me to continue her treatment.

This charity raises money for Broward County, Florida's public animal shelter! The public shelter is very high intake and this charity helps with desperately needed funding. The Director is involved in a number of animal causes and truly loves animals. Keep up the good work!

They fund raise to buy good beds for the animals; attend community events to raise awareness and funds; network to find forever homes for the animals; and advocate to make the animals' life better.
