Community Christian Church is a generous church that makes a powerful impact locally and around the world through their outreach programs. They spend over $500,000 per year to address a variety of Christian causes including: getting involved in under-resourced schools, planting new churches around the world, prison ministries, programs to help the poor and those in need, dealing with injustices, small group Bible studies and more. If you want to put your faith to work, this is a great church to be a part of.

If you love animals, especially dogs you will love this nonprofit. I volunteered to work with them in a community awareness and mini-fundraiser recently. These passionate animal lovers are making a huge impact to rescue dogs from neglect, abuse and death. Every two weeks they remove a truckload of dogs from high kill shelters to give them a second chance at life. They supply dogs to 95 other rescues and operate their own out of Yorkville Animal Hospital in Yorkville. To date, they have rescued nearly 60,000 dogs. Great nonprofit to generously donate to. Now I have offered to write grants to help them do more.

Matt Hutchison is a Christian financial advisor and is my agent in Oswego, Illinois. Thrivent is the only nonprofit in the Fortune 500 and they are generous in providing funding to Christian causes. I love having these services available to me with a company that affects the kingdom in heaven too.
