Zaksee Bird Sanctuary truly embodies a sanctuary, in every sense of the word! The founder, Magic (Majid), has devoted himself to his lifelong passion: creating a safe haven for captive exotic birds having arrived at their forever home. Cockatoos, macaws, conures, and parrots, to name a few, are sheltered and nourished in a hidden oasis right in the heart of Tampa. There, love and wisdom are evident, tangible, and reciprocated which makes for an unforgettable experience! Sustaining such a refuge with safe and enriching accommodations can be a daunting task; therefore, community outreach and awareness are necessary to ensure the survival of an exemplary avian organization.
