Review for Gardner's House Inc, Hartford, CT, USA

I first met Miss Gardner a long time before Gardner’s House she was in the nursing field at the time. Have know here for quite some time I can honestly say that believes in her cause and has unwavering commitment to people not just persons seeking assistance through her services, but any person need help. Maggie is there. As a two-time cancer survivor she selflessly advocates for services to broaden the current efforts against cancer by moving beyond research for cures, to include the considerations of survivorship and quality of life for those living with, and their families. Gardner's House is doing some tremendous work help cancer patients and their family understand and cope with this illness. Even during the many radio interviews her issues of concern and advocacy are for better quality of care so ordinary people can have a life even after surviving cancer. Maggie all the best in your fight and our doors are open to you and Gardner’s House any time

Thank you for your support, kind words, encouragement with our great mission. There is a great need for people who are facing cancer, Our lives have change, life as we know it is no more, i said (our) because i too, am a cancer survivor, knowing the changes that one face when this disease enter your life, your world has turn upside down and there is no where to turn at any time day or night, yes there are numbers to call and chat, what good is chatting, when you are hungry, homeless, lack of basic needs, and facing cancer at the same time. It is a dirty secret, only certain people are qualified for help and not others, why, are we all not equal? I thank you for taking the time, letting us know that you care for us, may God continue to bless and keep you safe. To those who will be taking this journey, Gardner’s House Inc will be there for you and family. Much, much thanks. President, Maggie Gardner
