Review for Widowed Persons Association Of California Inc, Sacramento, CA, USA
My wife of 55 years was terminal with "dementia & alzheimers". She had suffered for 10 years and was comatose for the last 6 months. I was also suffering with her! I met several of the WPAC members and learned of their objectives and activities that helped those who lost a loved one. Grief support for all sufferers! Activities to get up and continue with life. The members have a common thread and are willing to assist the recovery in every day living. I attended several functions as a guest and entered the Association as a member to further enjoy more functions, luncheons, gatherings, dinner dances. All are designed to chase the blues and sorrow but not remove the memories of the past.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Since joining Chapter #1, I have organized a fund raiser, joined on to assist the Wthis ays & Means committee and also joined the Fund Raising committee. The last two years I've enjoyed Association led me to run for an office on the Board. My life experiences will only profit this Chapter. My opportunity to "give back".
