PAW is a great organization that is in it for the welfare of the animals they help find new homes. Most of the animals are found as strays or come from high-kill shelters. Dogs are not placed in homes on a first come first served basis but on what situation or home is best for the dog.

When I first got to Bethany Community Church, a New Day partner church, I would not have dreamed I would be friends with homeless and vulnerable people. The women used to meet at another location and when we lost our benefactor the men of New Day invited us to join them for Friday breakfast. The breakfast is a wonderful way to get Bible study and listen to other people's viewpoints. It is also a good way to check in with people who don't always have someone looking in on them.
