Crayons to Classrooms provides a much needed service to the teachers in the Dayton, Ohio, and surrounding areas. Teachers dig into their own wallets to provide much needed supplies and materials for their students. By allowing teachers to shop at no cost for supplies for their students is amazing. Many families cannot provide their children with things as simple as paper, pencils, folders, crayons, etc.
I worked for the Dayton Public Schools for 32 years directly supporting eight Superintendents but my most important role was doing whatever was needed to help provide our students with the best education possible. Crayons to Classrooms greatly assists in that need for the students. After retiring, I have had the opportunity to volunteer at Crayons to Classrooms and they are a great group of people providing an invaluable service.
