Use this link to register in advance so my family and I are aware of how many people are going to be attending the walk this year.

Here's my story of how I became apart of the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation Team.
In 2012, I attended my first Chelsea Hutchison STOMP in Winchester, VA at the Wellness Center near the hospital. I was 14 years old at the time and I was so inspired and so happy to see all these people support such a wonderful cause. A disorder that I thought I was alone with for years. But that year made me realize that I'm not alone. There are others other there whom have the same disorder as me and they are doing something to help support the cause.
In 2013, I was granted a smartwatch from the foundation. It has helped me so much over the years living with Epilepsy and I pray every day that each and every day will get better. That same year, I wrote a song called, "Purple Flame" that came to be the song that Julie Henckel Hutchison wanted to play at all the walks. At first it started to be just a poem that I had wrote in my lyric journal. Then my mom stumbled across the song and had asked Daryl Gene Dunsmore to help write the music for it. He did and I got to record that song that same year. I was only 15 years old. My very first "stage" performance was in Winchester, VA at the 2nd Annual Chelsea Hutchison STOMP. During that performance I saw the audience in tears because that song has touched so many hearts because they knew or know or love someone whom has epilepsy.
(Fact: That song is still being played at all the Chelsea Hutchison STOMPs to this day.)
In 2014, I attended the 3rd Annual Chelsea Hutchsion STOMP in Winchester, VA. My second year singing my song and my first year selling merchandise. Yes, I created my own "Purple Flame" t-shirts to help raise money for the foundation.
(Fact: I still have those shirts for sale at this year's STOMP. If you attend you can purchase a shirt to help support Epilepsy and SUDEP.)
In 2015, I attended the 4th Annual Chelsea Hutchison STOMP in Winchester, VA. My third year singing my song, second year selling merchandise, and first year starting to write a book about my life with Epilepsy. Still unsure of what I would title the book, but it's still a work-in-progress.
(Fact: I am still writing that book to this day.)
In 2016, my mom and I start working together to start a Chelsea Hutchison STOMP in West Virginia. But until that happens I attend the STOMP in Winchester, VA. My fourth year singing my song, third year selling merchandise, second year writing my book, and first year starting up a STOMP in West Virginia.
In 2017, the Chelsea Hutchison STOMP finally came to West Virginia. It was held September 23rd, 2017 at Baker Park at 1 p.m. I was 19 years old when I hosted my first STOMP. It was hard for me to talk about somethings because I have such a soft heart and I understand what those people with Epilepsy are going through because I'm in their shoes.
But I can't talk about 2018 yet, because the walk hasn't started yet. This year I hope you all can attend and help be apart of my story and my journey.
