KOH is AMAZING! It has been a huge asset for my two boys (ages 14 and 16) and I honestly don't know where we would be without them. The have the most incredible mentors and a director and staff who truly cares about the kids/families they support.

Knights of Heroes is an amazing camp that provides incredible opportunities to kids who have lost a dad in the military. For my two boys (who had just turned 3 and 5 when their dad died), has not only been a great way to connect with some of the outdoor things their dad used to do with them, but it has also given them a chance to be around strong male figures. The staff push the campers to challenge themselves and get outside of their comfort zones. As a result, my boys have left camp with more self confidence, excitement for the outdoors, and a fantastic support system. For that, I am extremely grateful!

I truly can't say enough about how wonderful this organization is!! This was our first year attending and we all had a blast! As a single mother raising two boys on my own, there are just certain things I can't provide, and one is that fatherly bond. This camp strives to fill in some of that gap, and for my boys, that goal was accomplished! At the camp, KOH gives them a mentor who they spend one-on-one quality time with through the week. Mentors push these kids out of their comfort zones not only to have some fun experiences, but also as a way to build mental strength and confidence. The kids are challenged in a healthy and safe environment. What I love is that KOH is helping teach my boys how to be strong, confident, and respectful MEN. It is a beautiful thing to see and something I will always be grateful for!
