I have been volunteering at Animal Place since 2017. The staff and animal caregivers are compassionate, hard working and totally dedicated to the animal residents. They stay true to their mission to educate and advocate for all species. The animal residents that are lucky enough to call Animal Place their home are loved and treated with the respect they deserve as unique, amazing individuals. My volunteer time has given me such peace, joy and laughter. Thanks to the animal residents and all they have taught me, I am now a more passionate animal advocate and activist. I share their stories and heartwarming rescues in hopes I can make a difference for all those that couldn’t be saved. Animal Place has given me so much more than I can ever return.
