I have had the pleasure of volunteering at Southeastern Guide Dogs for 7 years. I currently volunteer in the Puppy Nursery. As a former Labor and Delivery and Nursery RN, I am able to combine the joy of bringing new lives into the world with my absolute love of dogs, especially puppies. For me, it's the perfect fit. The staff and administration at SEGD appreciate their volunteers and it shows. They always ask for feedback from their volunteers to insure that their volunteer experience is a worthwhile one. The best part of my volunteer experience is knowing many of these little puppies will grow into service dogs that will change someone's life for the better. Puppy breath is also a huge plus. I would highly recommend SEGD to others who want to make a difference in rhis crazy world.

I work with puppies at Southeastern Guide Dogs. The love and attention I give to them is returned to me tenfold. Knowing these precious pups will go on to enhance the lives of those in need is so heartwarming. It is truly a labor of love.The staff at SEGD are so kind and appreciative. I feel blessed to be a part of this organization.
