I started volunteering here to get closer and learn about the animals I’ve loved since childhood. The experience is well beyond what I could have imagined. I have met, and continue to meet, extraordinary people who give without question. I’ve seen transformations of horses we take in, in as little as a day. It’s as if they know they are in a better place immediately. The haven that has been built here on the backs of the volunteers that the owner Shawn Jayroe has united in this cause, has been nothing less than amazing. And the love for what they do continues to grow along with the education and tireless advocacy for the horses and those who love them.
