I got my first guide dog back in 2006. The match was perfect. Now I'm on my second guide from Southeastern. Again, they made the perfect match for me. I don't know what I would do without my dog guide. I just wish I had know about them years before. I always thought I had too much vision to use a guide dog, even though I have been legally blind since birth. I didn't know that I qualified. Now that I do, I will never be without a guide. Thanks to Southeastern, my life is so much better than it was before. And I have never met such patient people in my entire life. I am totally awed by the trainers and the program. They deserve all the credit in the world.
