I volunteered and attended the Conscious Eating Conference in 2017 at Animal Place and it is a weekend I'll never forget. The organization put together an amazing event with notable speakers and activities spread throughout the sanctuary. There I met some of the amazing individuals rescued by Animal Place, and each one gave me hope for a kinder future. Words can't express my gratitude to Animal Place for all they do for these animals that cannot help themselves. They give condemned lives a second chance to live peacefully on a beautiful farm, form animal and human friendships, and to simply be themselves. They are an amazing non profit and I wish them all the luck on their ongoing mission to save lives.
