I was an intern at Animal Place earlier this year, and had a great experience. I was especially impressed by how many campaigns Animal Place manages. Their Brave the Cage program is focused on outreach and educating the public about hens used for egg-laying. The Food for Thought program reaches out to shelters and environmental groups to adopt a vegan event policy. The Animal Place staff cares for hundreds of rescued animals, and it is because of them that these animals can live out the rest of their lives free from harm.
