Lilla and the raptors in her care were first introduced to me when she came to the preschool where I taught. She continued to bring the birds back and with each visit the children's knowledge and concern for the raptors grew.
I watch her at the Farmers Market each Saturday bringing the birds to teach the adults and children who stop by her booth about how we can protect the habitat of these birds.
These birds, Lilla and the volunteers are bringing an awareness of our need as humans to protect all the creatures on our planet. Thank you. Kristy Wood
