I had been looking online for a young rescue Maine Coon cat for over a year, when Raven 's picture and description appeared. I fell in love, and promptly filled out the application form. Shortly afterward, the woman still listed among my phone Contacts as "JoAnn Cat Adoption" called me. She took great care to make sure that I was a responsible pet owner and also provided me with great advice on the best foods for a young kitty. I drove two hours to pick up Raven and I was met precisely on time. Her rescuer had done a wonderful job of preparing her for a healthy and fulfilling life in a new home. Raven and I bonded almost immediately and she has been a source of great joy--and entertainment--in my life. JoAnn followed up a few weeks after I brought Raven home and we have stayed in touch every few months to share reports of Raven's complete reign over my home. I deeply appreciate JoAnn's ongoing interest in what has to be just one of dozens if not hundreds of cat adoptions over the years. RA Simon, Winston-Salem, NC
