My daughter started off doing community service with Healing Horses One Child at a Time in March of this year. She only needed a few community service hours, but after just one day she was ready to go back, not to earn hours, but because she loved helping Ms.Bev and working with the horses. In only a few trips she had made a connection with the horses and with Ms.Bev. She even begged to go over and help with outside chores such as spreading mulch during the week. I am able use this as leverage over her when needed, she loves going so much. This organization is truly a great opportunity and does amazing work with young kids and at risk kids. Ms.Bev has such a big heart for her children (she considers all the children hers) and for the horses she rescues.
