A Mother's Rest has been a God send! My husband and I were able to spend a weekend away to reconnect and get much needed rest at the Chesapeake Inn. The Inn keepers were incredibly gracious and the Inn was amazing. Thanks again AMR!

We are a family of 10. Our home consists of 3 originals and 5 "gotcha's". Our children all have various level of needs and many, many diagnosis. We wouldn't trade our life for anything but the fatigue is so real. I always thought taking time for myself was selfish. I thought "who would keep the house going, keep the kids alive?" Well, a friend told me about AMR and we took a respite weekend away. Oh how glorious it was to decompress, talk to other parents who understand your tribulations. And guess what, the house was still standing and all those kiddos were just fine! AMR has been a live saver and a marriage saver! If you haven't had an opportunity to go on a respite, please sign up and take the time you need to recharge and be the best you can be for all those that need you.

My husband and I were able to make the couples retreat at Lawson's Manor. What an incredibly beautiful place! The pool was very nice! I can't tell you how relaxed we were while we stayed there. Thank you for all you do!

As parents of 8 children with various exceptional needs, finding time to be a couple is few and far in between. AMR has provided my husband an I with our second couples respite at The Mayhurst Inn and it was incredible! We needed time to reconnect and to connect with other parents to provide support and conversation with. Pat and Jack, the Innkeepers are the absolute best. They provided us with wine and cheese every evening so we could all get together (if we wanted to). I hope we are able to come here again next year!

As a mother of 8 (6 with varying needs), finding time for rest is extremely difficult. I have now attended 2 mom's retreats and one couples retreat in the last year and I cannot give enough praise to AMR and the Inn partners. It has been an absolute blessing!
