Review for All Terrier Rescue Hunters Crossing Inc, Aloha, OR, USA

Rating: 1 stars

I, too, adopted a puppy from these people. Of course, I had to pay 300$ cash, buy a leash, collar, dog tag and one bag of food from PetSmart. While they preach about reading everything on their website, which I did, they leave out the details of needing 300 cash. I had a leash, collar, food at home and didn’t need to buy these things but they wouldn’t let me take the dog home. When the dog continued to cough, not eat or drink for 24 hrs, I called ATR. I was calm and kind but the woman I spoke to was rude and condescending. I’m in the medical field and don’t need to be lectured on the process of anesthesia, coughing from trach tubes. She said her cough would go away and she would be able to eat again. They said give her some Tylenol and whatever antibiotic you have laying around. Well, she didn’t get better. I contacted me friend who is a vet and she the dog needs to see a specialist. But I was spooked from their insane contract. I drove 90 minutes in traffic to get the dog meds from their house. They said angrily, do not get out of your car. She shot the dog and gave me a bag of unmarked meds. So weird. There’s a serious reason why so many folks have had left terrible reviews. While talking with friends about where they rescued their dogs, not one person has said they had to sign a contract, pay cash, put up with rude and unprofessional people. I really hope something changes. And in regards to someone’s rant about individuals who post negative reviews, that 20 dogs will die today. I have worked with several different rescue organizations and not one has ever had terrible practices like this organization. And they still manage to get dogs from kill shelters and get them good homes, without all of the things I have mentioned. I love my dog and am so happy to have her. I just wish she and so many other dogs weren’t so sick!
