I discovered Palomacy through a friend, when I had never even seen a pigeon in person before. I ended up finding a young pigeon in need, and though I was too far away from Palomacy, by hundreds of miles, I was able to contact volunteers and hear all of their instructions and information in real time. One volunteer even paid for two vet visits for me, since I couldn't afford to bring the pigeon to a vet, myself. They're a loving, generous community, who use every donation to the fullest extent. I've become a sustaining donor, and do my best to raise awareness for pigeons and doves, and direct anyone with questions to look into Palomacy. The pigeon I rescued is unreleasable due to a disability, and I've been taking care of him since. He brought so much love into my life, and brings more love with every cuddle and with every coo, and I would've never felt this love without Palomacy's help and guidance.
