Review for International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care Inc, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

IAHPC has been an extremely valuable resource in my work both as a hospice nurse and as a clinical instructor. IAHPC provides me consistently with the best information on research-based hospice/palliative care interventions and recommended treatment. IAHPC also has provided me with the majority of information I need to train my nursing students in providing care to the hospice patient. Thanks IAHPC!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Providing me with the information, nursing interventions, and hospice/palliative care protocols

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

provide more visibility.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The access to information, treatments and protocols. I also enjoy the fact that IAHPC advocates for quality end of life issues.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very helpful.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

provide even better access to hospice care and palliative internationally. Furthermore, the organization could advocate for any needed changes in various countries to make palliative and hospice care more accessible.

Ways to make it better...

My experience was fine.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

lack of understanding of what hospice and palliative care is.

One thing I'd also say is that...

this organization is well worth supporting.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
